Attached is an update from NJ21United on their grassroots safety action tomorrow, Monday, August 3rd at noon.   Please share widely.  This is an opportunity for our voices to be heard.  Members of the group Open NJ Now are planning to counter-protest.  They are driving the idea that teachers have been “on vacation for 6 months” and do not want to return to work.  We cannot let their anti-science, COVID-denier, and anti-teacher narrative take center stage.  We must strongly deliver our collective message that we will return in person only when it’s safe for students, staff, and their families.

UPDATE From NJ21United:

Monday 8/3, at 12 noon is our big day: It’s time for our Motor March in Trenton to convince the Governor to continue with crisis distance learning until it’s safe.  We’re meeting up at noon at 100 Riverview Plaza, Trenton, NJ, and we need all hands on deck for this demonstration.  Will you join us?
